About Thepokergrind.com And Our Team Of Editors
Our website was initially founded in 2007 and was nothing more than a hobby site. It has since grown into an incredible resource for poker enthusiasts who enjoy the game like we do. Our team here at TPG consists of 3 avid poker players who eat, breath and sleep poker and 2 senior writers. In short we love all things poker including playing the game, grinding out profits and writing about it.
Our Editors
Founder: Kevin Wade was the original founder of the site and is an avid poker player both online and off. He began playing poker in 1997 and has made a healthy profit over the years grinding out medium stakes poker games both locally and online.
Senior Editor: Patrick Hassey is our senior editor. While he enjoys playing poker like the rest of us, his true passion is in writing. Patrick was the chief editor of a major Florida newspaper prior to coming on board with tpg, and has been very instrumental in growing our website. He has many accomplishments with his writing including graduating journalism school in 1987.

Problem Gambling
Playing poker can be a lot of fun, and profitable too if you learn how to play correctly. But do it right folks, don't play with money you can't afford to lose. Start out with micro stakes where you can't get hurt, become a winning player at those stakes and then start moving up.
We take problem gambling very seriously here at TPG. If you feel that gambling is taking control of your life, or is more than just entertainment for you then please get help. We recommend visiting the following resources for helpful information about problem gambling.
